Absolutely beautiful chair. Bought it in Iroko and the colours in the wood are lovely, even when wet. Easy to assemble. Worth every penny and going back for a second one. The best ever garden chair and so comfortable. Absolutely love it!

These really exceeded our expectations. So lovely to sit in and are now a real feature in the garden. Everyone who comes round comments on them. We didn't really want to pay so much but you get what you pay for and we'd recommend them to anyone.

We bought 2 Iroko classic chairs and a coffee table, they look stunning in the sunshine and like warm gold in the rain. The finish is so smooth to the touch and comfortable to sit in. We are very happy with the furniture and I can truly recommend your work. The info you give on the webpage, on construction being 10 days before being shipped, meant I could work out when to place the order and when it was likely to be delivered at a time when I wasn't out of town - and you were spot on to the day, perfect. Thank you.

Enjoying our lovely chairs and footstool (Iroko). They really exceeded our expect ions and are so comfortable. Putting them together was pretty easy. Perfect for lazy days, reading a novel and having a cup of tea.

Thank you so much for our lovely chairs (Classic Iroko) and footstools/coffee tables. They look amazing and they are incredibly well made according to our woodwork fanatic offspring. If anyone is looking for this type of chair these are well worth the money. Not only all of that, but they are REALLY comfy too and miles better than those awful sun lounger things. Top marks for an excellent product!

Review: Adirondack Chair in Iroko
Our chair arrived earlier than promised, within the time frame stated by the carrier and very well protected. It was ingeniously folded into its flat pack and needed only 15 mins and two screwdrivers to reassemble using the 4 machine bolts and 12 screws provided; these were in stainless steel and of high quality. The manufacturer states that each chair is fully assembled and then minimally disassembled for transit. It went together very easily following the clear instructions with all pre-drilled holes lining up - no fettling required. Subsequent chairs could very likely be assembled more quickly.
The wood is very close grained, hard and beautifully finished with edges rounded over and the majority of the fixing holes covered by wooden plugs. There were no faults in the timber or machining and only a slight variation in tone as can be seen in some photographs on the website; I expect this to even out in time as the chair weathers to a silvery grey. The chair got very wet on its second morning but dried out unexpectedly quickly after the rain stopped. To test this further I poured a pint of water over one arm - within 30 mins the arm was quite dry (air temp 15 degrees Celsius, little wind, no sun)
Comfortable - Well?..........Very. Out of the box it is the 3rd most comfortable chair I have ever sat in and with one or two large squishy cushions it's right up there with number one. The seat is contoured and the back is slightly dished and importantly the angle between the two is a good one. Chair comfort is a very subjective matter. I am 188 cms. tall my wife is 165 cms. and our friend is 162 cms. however we all found the seat to be generously deep (yet not too deep for the smallest of us) and the head was well balanced on the shoulders when sitting. The arms are wide and substantial enough to haul on when getting up and for us of a good height. Our friend said the chair was perfect for sun bathing (she does a lot!) however both my wife and myself who are taller found that a cushion behind the head was mandatory for lying back to catch the rays (ymmv) and like the best cars (imho) this chair looks good from any angle.
In conclusion: I am not a sitting still sort of a person being very easily bored - (probably hyper active as a kid and I just never grew up - now in my 60's and definitely not counting), I am not even a chair person (me and my sofa love each other) however I have spent more time sitting out in the last 3 days since the chair arrived just letting my mind aimlessly cycle than I have in the last year (actually the last four but I didn't want to over gild the lily!). Good beer and lazy summer days were made for this chair and it is all too easy to fall asleep in it.
